Camera Review
Samsung Galaxy S
Samsung's flagship Android smartphone is competitive with the best of its kind. Its large 4in. AMOLED screen is a highlight and performance is good. However, some of the extra applications are irrelevant to business users, and battery life could be better.
The Galaxy S clearly references Apple's iPhone in its physical design. The front is almost all screen, with a silver frame around its black chassis and curved edges. The homage is somewhat diluted by the Samsung branding above the screen and by the use of three buttons (compared to Apple's one) beneath the screen.
Canon PowerShot G12 Review
Ferraris get updated every few years. And so do Canon’s “G” series point-and-shoot cameras. Last year we tested the G11 and liked it a lot, but it still had some drawbacks, notably the lack of high-def video recording. The company rectified that problem with the new 10-megapixel G12, and even added a few tweaks that’ll please many shutterbugs. Let’s see what they are, and if the G12 is worth nearly 500 clams.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ40 Review
If you're in the market for a do-it-all camera and are not intimidated by size, then the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ40 is one of your suspects.
This is a camera that packs in almost anything the average photo hobbyist could think of. It has lots of manual controls, a giant zoom, 720p AVHCD Lite video, and Panasonic's tried and true Intelligent Auto suite.
