Olympus Premieres TG-1 iHS
We all know that Olympus has always exceeded the expectation when it comes to innovation and creativity. They have achieved this fame every time a new gizmo is unveiled. This time with the TG-1 the company is set to achieve another feat.
The only problems with such inventions are the price factor which is out of reach of the normal civilization. But according to the Portrait Photographer Derbyshire website, this time the price has been lowered a bit to stay in the competition.
The TG-1 iHS claims to the first rugged camera to embed an F/2.0 lens. This lens will allow users to capture high resolution images at blinking fast speed. The company also claims that this device can capture in high quality images even at low light conditions. The innovative combination of outstanding image quality and durability enables TG-1 to shoot even at the worst conditions.
It has a 3" inch HD OLED display screen which provides optimum visibility under bright light. This can help to click images even at direct sunlight. The protective coating enables less scratch and pinch on the reflective glare. It also features water repellent coating on the lens which prevents any water to stick to the lens surface. It is waterproof and can be used to a depth of 40 feet. It is also shock proof to 6.6 feet height and crushproof to a weight up to 220lbs.
This is one of the toughest cameras available in the market and one can use and abuse this in almost any way they want.
The 12MP backlit CMOS censor plus TruPic 6 image processor combines together to provide an enhanced high quality photography experience. If you are a professional photographer and would like to have expandable features you will have to patch up a converter ring to it. This will allow you to add lens convertor, Fish eye convertor and Teleconvertor kens which can be used both in land and water.
The Olympus TG-1 iHS is rumoured to hit the US market on June 2012 at an expected price of $400. We still do not have any confirmation if this device will be made available globally.
COLOUR YOUR WEDDING PHOTOS
Shakespeare wrote: "Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind." This may be true of the bride and groom, but it is not true of the guests at a wedding!
To maks sure that your photos look as good as possible, you need to make sure you have chosen the right colour scheme. Tim at Portrait Photography Derbyshire takes us through what you should be thinking about when you plan your wedding.
Your wedding colors are often the first thing your guests notice - after you, of course - and they will continue to see your colors throughout the evening. From the first invitation to the clothing, food, decorations, and guest book, your wedding color combination sets the tone for your wedding and gives it a distinct mood.
Most spring wedding color combinations feature lively colors because nature brings forth new life in spring. A spring wedding fittingly celebrates the new life a couple has chosen together.
Pastel Green, Purple, and Gold
This color scheme works especially well for a daytime wedding held outdoors on a spreading green lawn. The soft pastel green featured in this wedding color scheme will complement the color of the grass, and the pastel purple and soft gold colors add interest and imbue the wedding with a gentle springtime feel. The bride wears white while her bridesmaids wear pastel green dresses The groom wears a dark tuxedo with a pastel green tie and gold pocket square, as do his groomsmen. Tablecloths are alternating colors of green, gold and purple. Serve wine or punch the color of rich gold, and serve yellow cake with purple and gold frosting. The key to this combination is to use pastel colors rather than bright colors, which may look dated. Done correctly, this wedding color combination makes for a bright and happy mood.
Navy, Dark Green, and White
Darren, a Portrait Photographer Stockport, recommends a navy and dark green combo.
"A navy and dark green wedding color combination conveys class, depth, and brisk confidence. The bride's white dress looks especially lovely against the navy worn by her bridesmaids. The groom and his groomsmen wear a dark navy suit, elegant green neckties, and pocket squares. Tables are draped with navy tablecloths and contain vases filled with brilliant white roses The cake and its icing are a brilliant white and are trimmed with navy and dark green frosting. As with the preceding wedding color combination, this wedding pallet looks fantastic at a wedding held on a green lawn. It also makes for a memorable seaside wedding."
White, Off-White, and Yellow
Your guests won't soon forget this subtly beautiful color combination. White, off white, and yellow make for a dazzling beautiful wedding that will leave guests rubbing their eyes Make no mistake: this color combination heavily emphasizes pure white and only relies on other colors sparingly. Tablecloths are pure white and contain vases filled with roses of the very same shade. The cake is white and is covered in white icing accented with off-white and yellow trim. The groom and his groomsmen wear white tuxedos with yellow neckties and may wear white top hats if desired. Surrounded by her white clad attendants, the bride looks angelic and seems to radiate purity. Those with a flair for the dramatic might consider renting a white carriage drawn by white horses.
CANON EOS 600D REVIEW
This is a review of the latest Canon EOS 600D released. The compact, lightweight SLR camera has everything on board for capturing beautiful photos as well as Full HD videos. The Canon EOS 600D captures clear colors with a lot of detail, thanks to the 18 Megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor that works together with the 14-bits DIGIC 4 image processor. With the 9-point AF-system, each image is razor sharp; an precision focusing is possible thanks to an extremely sensitive AF-sensor that is centrally placed.
